We have just over 20 members who live in Kendal or surrounding villages. As well as our fortnightly meetings we meet for lunch once a month and have two weekend social events every year. We are a friendly group that welcomes new members. |

We welcome all new members by meeting for coffee in the village and by providing a lift to their 1st meeting. |

We are a very friendly group who meet once every month, on variable evenings. We have a planning meeting in September when members choose meeting topics.The topics are varied and include a mixture of serious and more light-hearted subjects. We also include at least one cultural meeting (music, poetry, film or art ) and have occasional visiting speakers. We have a very successful Book Group which meets monthly again on variable evenings. We also have an annual summer walk and meal. |
