N.W.R. Halloween

The night is dark and the wind blows cold
They arrive on their broomsticks, very bold
They park them up outside the Coven
where there's something cooking in the oven.

Big fat, brown mice with red tails and eyes
Spider web cakes and pumpkin pies
Then just look at the witches faces
as they all have a spider to put in the races.

Apple bobbing was another game
All that tried, got wet just the same
I wonder which one will be the whizz!
As they try and do a Halloween quiz.

The time has come as they all give a sigh
to leave the coven, and off they fly
Did they all come from afar?
No, they belong to Yate/Chipping Sodbury N.W.R.
