2nd of September at 6.30 pm saw five members of the Buckhurst Hill and Woodford( Eve) go on a 10 k ‘Sparkle Walk’ for Haven House a local Children’s hospice.
The streets were packed with walkers wearing pink and sparkling with decorative headgear. There was music and refreshments and it was fun meeting friends from the area who were walking. At the end the local bar gave all the participants a glass of fizz to celebrate the end of a great event.
It got us in the mood to do more walks.
