Grantham NWR celebrated the Coronation in style on Thursday 04.05.23. We held a lunch in the garden of one of our members and the amount of food, and cakes, had to be seen to be believed! Bunting and flags were up and a lot of effort went into everyone dressed in a combination of red, white and blue, plus tiaras of course and decorated hats. We also reminisced about previous Coronation memories and considered how the Monarchy might be thought of in the future. Even the weather played its part which, despite a chilly breeze, was bright and sunny with no rain, giving everyone a memorable time. God Save the King!
