To make the most of the summer our members decided to meet at the recently opened Darnford Ecology Park. This is part of the work of Lichfield and Hatherton Canal Restoration Trust to reestablish the canal and one of our members is heavily involved in the charity. We enjoyed a walk along both sides of the canal towpath and read the information boards along the way. We then retired to the adjacent golf club for refreshments and a catch up.
