We held the following discussions over the last few months:
Scandals! We chose different scandals (financial, moral, political, sexual and corporate) and had a very lively discussion!
The Channel Islands (National topic). We discussed the various islands that make up the Channel Islands and refreshed ourselves with some typical CI foods.
Which Famous Person would you like to Invite to Dinner? – We enjoyed hearing who other members chose as guests and what they would serve them for dinner.
Connections – This was a national topic set by our head office. After struggling with the topic initially, we had a great discussion and found out some interesting things.
We had a very interesting discussion about Body Modifications in the modern world. It turned out to be fascinating as we went from babies with earrings to full on plastic surgery, via false nails, hair dye and tattoos. It was very thought-provoking.
