A second Leighton Buzzard NWR group started in late January 2025 and already has over 20 members.
Membership of NWR is the perfect opportunity to make more local friends. Our discussion meetings include a mixture of light-hearted and more serious topics. There is no obligation to contribute to the discussion if you’d prefer just to listen and there will always be time for a friendly chat to get to know each other. Currently our meetings are held on a Thursday in a public venue in Leighton Buzzard town centre, starting at 10.30am and finishing at 12 noon.
We’re adding sub-groups and have already begun coffee mornings, a Canasta group has started, a ‘Between the Covers’ book group is being set up as are knitting and crochet and modern board games groups. We’re also talking about a walking group, outings – cinema, theatre, museums etc – the choice is endless.
