A new group is starting in Leighton Buzzard!
NWR meetings are the perfect opportunity to make more local friends. They include either a light-hearted discussion topic which acts as an ice-breaker and sometimes more serious ones – whichever they are, we find our discussions go off in all sorts of directions! There is no obligation to contribute to the discussion if you’d prefer not to as we are a friendly group and understand some people might not fancy that initially.
Our meetings will start at 10.30am and finish at 12 noon and will be held in a local pub on the following dates:
Thursday 23 January 2025 – Welcome with brief introduction to NWR and to Leighton Buzzard 2, followed by a discussion on “what I like about living in Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding villages”
Tuesday 13 February – What non-tech item wouldn’t you want to be without?
Thursday 27 February – I’ve never seen Star Wars – talk about something you haven’t done or experienced that most other people seem to have
Tuesday 13 March – My favourite book of all time and why. Maybe this could be the beginning of a NWR Leighton Buzzard 2 book group
Thursday 27 March – Who would you invite to a dinner party and why?
Tuesday 10 April – My favourite season and why
Thursday 24 April – Are you decisive? Are you good at making major decisions and are you better than you used to be? Do you believe in fate? Is it chance or choice?
Tuesday 24 June – Social and NWR fund-raiser with NWR Leighton Buzzard 1 (what, where and when TBA)
