This month a small group of Sheffield South West NWR got together in a member’s garden to talk about plants and gardens. We feared this may not have been possible due to the inclement weather on that day but the cover of a gazebo kept the rain off our tea and cakes! (and ourselves of course.)
The discussion focussed on identifying plants and what people have in their gardens. We also chatted about cuttings and propagation which led to some members looking at what the could do in their own gardens.
A lovely afternoon was had by all and we all left with arms full of produce (cooking apples, courgettes, chard) and new plants to add to our collections.
