Another successful circular walk introducing LB2 members to yet more of the countryside on our doorstep. For some, who are new to the area, it was a true introduction, and others who have lived locally for much longer were taken to parts of Stockgrove, Rammamere, Kings Wood and Rushmere that they had never visited before. The route took in the varied landscapes of heath, woodland and lake, although sadly very little wildlife was seen this time. The conservation grazing sheep on the heath eyed us very suspiciously though! The area is always beautiful whatever time of year, but with the trees beginning to display their autumn hues it was particularly colourful.
