Members of the Long Melford & District group enjoyed an entertaining afternoon in the colourful company of burlesque afficionado and speaker Lindsey Barrell.
Appearing as her alter ego Ms Cherry Bombe, Lindsey explained how a quest to make new friends led her to form her own highly regarded burlesque dance troupe. The troupe are in constant demand and regularly perform at special events for charity. Her presentation was informative, engaging and very funny. Under her expert instruction some of us even tried a few moves, with varying degrees of success!
