What a privilege to have Filey Museum open their doors for our own guided tour today.
Not only an indoors adventure, but the outside garden also has so much to offer too

Recently reopened after a complete refurbishment, there is still very much work to do, to establish the provenance of so many items that have been donated / found in the building.
The team of trustees are doing an amazing job, to ensure complete authenticity in creating 3 very distinct categories of:
Fishing
Farming &
Fun at the Seaside.
Really looking forward to a return visit next year, to see how things have developed 💕
Any of my West Yorkshire friends or family interested, please be aware this closes in October for winter and re-open in spring … but would make a fabulous school education trip too once they have all the rooms sorted 💕
