A small group of ladies gathered together, including one from LB1, to knit and crochet red poppies for Leighton Buzzard and Linslade’s Remembrance Display. Some were rekindling skills they thought were long forgotten – muscle memory is such a wonderful thing. Trying to chat at the same time wasn’t always conducive to the counting of stitches, so a few error corrections had to be made along the way.
