We are a lively group of individuals with a youthful outlook on life. We are mostly in our 60s and 70s, with a few members in their 50s and 80s. We have fortnightly evening meetings in members homes and regular afternoon coffee meet ups.
We have a Theatre Club, Book Club and Rummikub group and also have a monthly walk led by one of our members.
Discussion topics could be on anything, depending on members suggestions at our planning meeting. We then vote on the most popular and fit them into our calendar. Recently we have covered: aqueducts, Ladies who made a difference, member’s travel experience, anything to do with the colour ‘red’, truth or fiction? etc. etc. etc. You name it, we have done it.
We also have a Summer Garden Party/Quiz and a festive party in December. We have an annual ‘Day Out’ arranged by the current organisers (who change every year).
We are a friendly, supportive bunch who welcome new members. There is never any obligation to host a meeting. Please do get in touch if you are interested in joining us.
