A leisurely trip on the Chesterfield Canal whilst enjoying afternoon tea. A chance to observe the wildlife along the way and to learn about the work done by the ‘Chesterfield Canal Trust’ in restoring the canal which runs for 46 miles from the River Trent to the middle of Chesterfield, linking Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Since 1989, 12 miles of the canal have been restored along with 37 locks and 12 bridges.
