Air is all around us but what do we know about it? This workshop considers these questions: ‘How do vibrations in the air lead to a sound we can hear?’ and ‘What turns air into wind?’ We’ll watch short You Tube clips to learn some science and try structured activities on different sounds, using our own breath (e.g., through a straw) and harnessing the wind as a source of power as well as the wind in myth, legend, story and poetry. No preparation is needed.
