We will be meeting at 10am on Friday 15th August to explore Whinfell Quarry Gardens, with the 2 wonderful specimen giant redwood trees, Japanese Acers and countless Himalayan rhododendrons and Azaleas. From there we will enter Whirlow Brook Park and walk a short way up the Limb Valley before retiring to ‘The Shelter Cafe’ for coffee and cakes. Those who may not wish to walk can join us at the cafe. Parking is available in the Park or in the layby on the road.
