Dr Altman will begin with a summary of the Universe particularly on its tremendous size, and our place in it. He will then discuss the concept of alien life, going onto early beliefs, UFOs, and reports of actual meetings with aliens, followed by his advice as to always being sceptical of fantastic reports without appropriate evidence. The talk ends with his own personal view as to whether alien life exists.
The talk is based on a chapter in Dr Altman’s book MYSTERIES OF THE UNIVERSE published in 2026 by Pen & Sword books.
