Tuesday 9 September at 4pm – this talk will NOT be recorded
This talk was first developed in 2020. Intended as a brief talk on the subject of “Rewilding”, Ruth became so interested in the separate but related topic of “Keystone Species” that it grew into a combined talk. Rewilding has become quite a hot, even divisive, topic in recent years and she hopes to be able to present something of both sides of the argument.
It is nearly 45 years since Ruth first joined NWR. As she moved around the country she became a member of groups in Congleton, Wokingham, Darlington and now Wokingham again. Since retiring, she has prepared and presented talks to various groups on a wide variety of subjects. She firmly declares that she is not an expert on any subject but very much enjoys researching something new (the easy and enjoyable bit) and then creating the talk (the hard bit!).
