Monday Chair Yoga with Robyn Lee
A mindful practice to move, stretch and strengthen from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a sturdy chair and an open mind! Join Robyn for this all-levels Chair Yoga experience, connecting mind, body and breath as we explore a moving meditation together.
DISCLAIMER – By taking part in this class, you (the attendee) confirm that you acknowledge the yoga practice involves physical exercise which has the potential to cause personal injury. Tuesday A Joyful Introduction to Meditation with Jo Sumner
A standalone session to experience the lighthearted and imaginative approach of our upcoming 5 week course
This introductory session is designed as a welcoming and enjoyable experience for those curious about meditation. It offers a taste of the creative and relaxing techniques explored in the full 5 week course, with an emphasis on playfulness, imagination, and gentle relaxation. Whether participants are new to meditation or simply looking for a moment of peace, this session provides a delightful way to unwind and discover the joy of guided visualisation.
Wednesday Mindful Crafting with Jane Barrett
Join artist Jane Barrett for a one hour workshop on mindful crafting. Having recently run 6 mindful art sessions, Jane is delighted to host this special Easter themed session where she will be demonstrating how to up-cycle and make cute Easter decorations to brighten your home.
For this session, you will need:
Egg boxes, PVA glue, acrylic paints, thin paintbrush for fine details, scissors, card (can be backs of cereal boxes)
Optional – Posca pens or alternative acrylic paint pens (can be expensive so only use if you already have them or want to use them)
Thursday Dance for Life with Janice Fraser
Be part of our regular Dance for Life class with a special focus on health and including some breath work. This is a fun, friendly session designed to boost your health and wellbeing. All fitness levels are welcome with variations shown for different abilities including seated.
Mobility: Gentle movements help keep your joints flexible and your muscles strong.
Healthy Feet: We focus on foot exercises to improve stability and support overall health.
Deep Breathing: We practice breathing techniques that can help lower blood pressure and reduce anxiety.
Balance Exercises: Improve your balance to help prevent falls and feel more confident on your feet.

In this fascinating talk John explores what mindset is, pitfalls for you to watch out for and what you can do to practically improve your Mindset for better mental health.
This is a paid event for NWR members only. The total cost is £15, working out at just £3 a session!
We will be recording each class and will email a link to the recording to ticket holders after the event once it has been edited and uploaded. Please do not share this link with anyone as this is a paid event.
