We are a fun, friendly,  inquisitive and lively band of ladies meeting regularly and frequently; at least once a fortnight. From Autumn, 2021 we are meeting in real life and on Zoom. Our actual meetings are in each other’s homes and tend to be afternoon events, usually commencing at 2:00pm. Zoom is generally reserved for evening get togethers, usually commencing at 7:00pm. We discuss many different topics including the arts and media,  historical events, world and local geography, science, different cultures, current affairs and environmental issues with occasional outside speakers. We share tips and advice and teach each other new skills. We celebrate each other’s happy events and support each other in times of need. We get together for walks, lunch and trips far and wide. We also have a book group, “Read & Relish”, meeting regularly to discuss a wide range of contemporary and classical literature.
