Crieff Area National Women’s Register
Our local group for Crieff and surrounding areas meets regularly.
Meetings take place between September and June.
We aim to meet every two weeks on a Wednesday at 7:30 pm, occasionally meeting in the afternoons.
The meetings have various topics to discuss or take part in for an hour. Before and after the main event, there is ample time for catch-ups of an hour or more in total.
The meetings are held in our members’ homes with light refreshments, e.g. tea/coffee, biscuits and often a glass of wine!
Our regular events include:
A national telephone treasure trail featuring cryptic clues set by a different group each year.
The book club night, where we discuss the book our group has chosen to read from a suggested list from head office.
A celebration of the nationally-advised country of that year. This usually takes the form of bringing dishes of the country’s food along to share, and features a fun quiz about the country.
A pot-luck Christmas celebration held in one of the members’ houses.
An annual meal out at the start of the year.
Our summer day out to a local place of interest.
Start of summer BBQ, with partners/friends/family made welcome.
In addition to these regular events, we often get together to attend an array of additional events and we always meet locally for coffee and chat, especially during the summer months when there are no meetings.
