We are a friendly bunch of women in their 60s, 70s and 80s who like to have fun. We meet twice a month, usually weekday afternoons, for discussions and visits, and we sometimes have a walk followed by a pub lunch.
Our discussion meetings are informal and usually held in our homes, but there is no obligation to host. Typical discussion topics might be ‘Unsung heroes’, ‘Should foreign artefacts be repatriated?’ and ‘Colours – uses, history, folklore’ We’ve also visited museums, the cinema and theatre together. We particularly enjoy our Murder Mysteries (we dress up and find appropriate food).
