We are a friendly, welcoming group, mainly in our 60s and 70s, who meet fortnightly in the evenings at members homes. There is never any obligation to host.
We also have a Book group, which meets every two months and have twice yearly coffee mornings, book swaps and plant swaps. Once a month from April to October we have a lunch in a range of different cafes/ pubs.
Recent discussion topics have included: newspaper headlines and the Kirsty Young podcast. We have also had a speaker who supports Ukrainian refugees and in August we are visting Reading museum, which has a very interesting tapestry.
