We are happy to welcome new members to join our lively programme of twice monthly meetings covering wide-ranging topics that can be serious or frivolous – but they are always informative.
We have regular social gatherings (partners welcome but not obligatory), a monthly pub lunch or similar, a Book Club and a Culture Club where members take advantage of group booking reductions for plays, concerts and other cultural events. We walk, we visit galleries and generally have a good time.
We are a relatively large group (over 30 members) so it is possible to dip in and out of activities depending on the individual member’s preferences although all members are encouraged to take part in planning, hosting or organising both regular and special events.
We have a lively and very active WhatsApp group which keeps members even more in touch with each other. We aim to provide a source of interaction which is open to all and which fulfils the connectedness that we all enjoy.
