We are a lively and friendly group of 12 with a varied and interesting programme of talks, discussions, arts and crafts, quizzes and outings. The group was formed over 40 years ago and is a mixture of longstanding and newer members.
We meet every two weeks on Tuesdays in each other’s homes, which cover quite a wide area from Padiham in the north to Unsworth, south of Bury. We usually meet in the daytime but this can vary.
We have a good variety of topics and outings coming up in 2025. Something to suit everyone! Examples of the types of things we cover in our meetings are a discussion about home remedies, theatre visits, festivals in other cultures celebrated in the UK, walks and a lunches out.
