Do you enjoy talking about a variety of different subjects, doing a bit of research and making new friends? Then Tarporley NWR group could be right for you. We are a friendly, welcoming, supportive group, age range 40s to 80s, and we meet once a fortnight, in the evening, in a local village hall. We have 19 members, with an average of 10 to 12 at most meetings.
We always find plenty to talk about, whatever the subject. Some people enjoy researching a subject, others like to come and listen and join in, it works very well in our group. Some examples of topics are wedding traditions, favourite flowers, what we would put in Room 101, British Prime Ministers, a discussion about addiction. We like to participate in the ideas from NWR head office like books to review, the Country theme, the Telephone Treasure Trail and the conferences.
