Taunton NWR has been established for over 55 years. It remains a thriving group, with women interested in everything and looking for lively discussion.
As per the NWR ethos we greatly enjoy researching , then discussing, a whole variety of topics during the course of the year – think ‘Loose Women’ – we’ve always got something to say ! Our programme is put together by our members each October.
We meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7pm for our main meeting. On the 3rd Thursday of each month in the morning we meet at The Cosy Club in Taunton for a coffee and a social catch up.
We also have a Book Group, which meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7pm.
In addition we have meals out , visit places of interest, go to the theatre and cinema to mention a few.
Covering the centre of Taunton and the surrounding rural areas our group welcome all newcomers, whether recently retired , empty nesters or those who have relocated to the area and are looking to make contacts.
We welcome all new enquiries and are happy to meet for an initial coffee and a chat.
