Taunton NWR is a thriving group, with women interested in everything and looking for lively discussion. We meet monthly on the 1st Tuesday at 7pm and greatly enjoy researching and discussing a variety of topics during the course of the year – think ‘Loose Women’ – we’ve always got something to say ! We also meet on the 3rd Thursday for a social catch up over coffee in town. In addition to which , we have theatre trips , visits to exhibitions / museums , walks , lunches, quizzes and so much more.
We also have a Book Group, which meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7pm.
In the winter months we hold afternoon meetings to accommodate those who prefer not to venture out in the dark evenings and we also hold weekly afternoon meet ups to play various board games – which is really an excuse for tea and cake !
Covering the centre of Taunton and the surrounding rural areas our group welcomes all newcomers, whether recently retired , empty nesters or those who have relocated to the area and are looking to make contacts.
With all new enquiries we are happy to meet for an initial coffee and a chat.
