Our group is fun and informal, we enjoy having a really good laugh together.
We meet monthly on Fridays at 6.30pm in our homes (the 3rd Friday of the month).
Our ages range from 50 to 87 and we are a real mixture – full time workers, part time workers, retired, single, divorced, married and widowed, some without children, one a great grandmother.
We have a few subgroups too – “ladies lunching” – we go out once a month or so for lunches in new places, during the week and on Sundays. We also love going to the cinema and theatre together.
Over the summer we take the opportunity to go on outings instead of having discussion meetings and we also go on holidays together (Cambridge, Oxford, Amsterdam so far, and in 2026 we’re off to Barcelona!).
