We are a large, friendly group who meet for discussions and chat. We are now all retired, but welcome women of all ages and backgrounds.
We meet every two weeks during the week in our homes, sometimes in the afternoon and sometimes in the evening. There is no obligation to host if you can’t or don’t want to.
Our programme varies from the lighthearted to the serious, with the occasional visiting speaker. Typical discussion topics might be Traditions – investigate a country, mobile devices – a debate, the story of plastics, a first experience or the colour orange. We have a monthly book group, and occasionally meet for coffee on a Thursday if people are free.
