We are a friendly group who meet fortnightly on Monday evenings. We also have a coffee morning on alternate weeks and a book club once a month.
Our meetings are informal and cover a wide range of topics. Recent topics include feedback on our travels, descriptions of the county where we were born, the dress code of a Regency lady, stimulating newspaper articles, Three famous men called William, well known Yorkshire folk and topical subjects.
Every year we go out for a Christmas lunch, have a summer outing, and a strawberry tea in one of our members’ gardens.
