“A Perth women’s group held a special celebration last week to mark two anniversaries. The National Women’s Register (NWR), which supports women across the UK, turns 60, while the Perth branch of the register marks its own 35th anniversary this year. And 72 members from across the region and beyond gathered at the Black Watch Castle Museum last week to mark the milestones. Women from Perth, Crieff, Stirling and seven Girl power other groups from Bridge of Don to Dalgety Bay, attended the event to watch a nationwide broadcast by NWR founder Maureen Nicol.”
