Members of Salisbury NWR enjoyed a fascinating tour of Salisbury Playhouse on Tuesday 16th September. Kate, our guide, showed us areas behind the scenes which are not generally accessible to the public, like the green room, dressing room areas, costume storage and the workshop where they make and assemble the stage sets. We were also able to go onto the main stage and get a feel for what it must be like for one of the cast. It was a memorable experience and reminded us how lucky we are to have a theatre in Salisbury.
