Our last meeting was “Child of the 20th Century”
With a good time span between us all, our childhood memories were very different, but we all felt we had much more freedom than children today. There were tales of days playing in the woods, a quarry, and down by muddy rivers. Fortunately there weren’t many mishaps, just getting dirty.
We were asked if we still had a favourite toy and if so, to bring it along as a guest. Amazingly the toys were those, not only of members, but of their mothers and grandmothers too, some dolls and teddy bears being up to 102 years old. They were all lovely to look at!
