In 2020 when NWR celebrated it’s Diamond Jubilee, Farnborough NWR agreed to plant a tree locally to celebrate. Then Covid happened and so all our plans were delayed. Our tree was finally planted in Autumn last year. We chose to plant it in the grounds of the Parish Church in Cove as some members past and present have connections with the church and the church is in the centre of “Cove” village (part of Farnborough) and is used for community events including the Food Bank and we met there whilst getting used to meeting again after Covid restrictions were lifted.
