On a beautiful autumn morning we joined members of the local Walking for Wellbeing group (where some of our members are also members), and set off down leafy lanes into rural Baughurst, and to Ashford Hill Water Meadows. We saw and heard skylarks above, and ruminated with a herd of cows in the meadows, whilst talking (and walking) hard. Our leader kept a swift pace going, but rewarded us halfway with lemon acid drops and barley sugars! We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 mile walk, and shall endeavour to do so again, hopefully encouraging others to join us.
