Our ARM ( Annual Review Meeting)

We held our ARM (Annual Review Meeting) this afternoon – 3 July which as usual was a fairly relaxed affair. We discussed what had gone well over the last year and changes we might make in the coming year.

Although it’s now the end of our session we still have plenty planned over the summer months including a visit to the Glasgow Royal Museum, a Floor Curling Bonspiel, a visit to the King’s Gallery in Edinburgh, our Annual Book Group lunch and various ad hoc walks. There is a currently a walking trail dedicated to spotting the decorated Scottie Dogs ( Scotties) in Glasgow but as there are 40 large ones and 52 smaller ones spread far and wide across the city we decided it wouldn’t be feasible to organise a group walk. This is the Scottie Dog Art trail in aid of Maggie’s Cancer Care. Over the summer members will be keeping an keep an eye open for them and capture a photo of these colourful doggies when they are out and about in Glasgow so hopefully there will be some popping up on our socials over the summer.

Fiona, our host today provided refreshments including Prosecco and ‘NoSecco’ and deconstructed Strawberry tarts so we could build our own and for those who preferred a meringue these were also available. Delicious!
