Members met to help Ethna Kerr celebrate an impending big birthday that actually falls on 5 August. Ethna chose The Boat Yard in Lochwinnoch for her birthday treat of coffee and cake ( this is our group’s tradition of treating the birthday girl). Ethna had been a member for some years and had left due to family commitments but we managed to lure her back again.
Ethna has many holidays and meals planned to celebrate her 8 decades. Over lots of cake and refreshments lots of useful advice was offered about how to care for her birthday gift, a lovely Orchid plant. Happy Birthday Ethna!
