We enjoyed a lovely gathering in Ann’s beautiful oasis of a garden to celebrate before our break for the summer holidays. The bring and share dishes provided a delicious spread and Ann supplied the wine and drinks. Ann gave us a quiz of general Art knowledge from the Royal Academy which got us all thinking. Colette won the prize after a tie break with 10 out of 20 marks but most of us managed to get around 6 or 7 marks. We then went on to play a game where the answer to the question posed had to begin with a random letter from a spinner. This caused much head scratching and laughter. A delightful evening with good company to wish everyone a happy summer!
