NWR logo and brand guidelines for NWR groups

This page provides information for Local Organisers, Programme Planners and other volunteers about the NWR brand and how to use the logo on programmes and other literature created by groups.

The NWR brand is how we are seen by everyone – members, staff and the general public.  The logo is a key part of this and needs to be used consistently to ensure that the organisation is seen as cohesive and professional.

In addition to this, we also need messaging about NWR to be consistent.  When describing NWR please look at the website for phrases about NWR and repeat these in any communications you have.

The logo

The NWR logo has been created in a variety of colours, with each colour assigned to a type of communication or communication channel.

Local groups are to use the blue version in their communications.  Should the logo need to be placed on a colour background there is a white version available on request. No other colour/combinations are permitted.

The NWR logo

■ As an ensemble they should be used as provided and individual elements not resized or repositioned
■ The NWR logo should be used on the first/front page of any ‘document’ ie in any NWR generated materials it should be the first logo type used

The NWR logo ‘lite’

■ The NWR logo ‘lite’ includes the icon and initials
■ As an ensemble they should be used as provided and individual elements not resized or repositioned
■ The NWR logo should be used only subsequent to use of the NWR logo in any ‘document’/NWR materials

The NWR icon

■ The NWR logo icon can be used independently of the initials and strap line ‘connecting women’ – but only following use of the NWR logo in any ‘document’/materials

General guidelines on logo usage

The logo should be placed on a white background with a reasonable border around it.

The logo should not be rotated, stretched or distorted.  It may be resized, but all elements need to remain in proportion.

Never alter or add elements to the logo.

The logo may only be placed on NWR literature.
