When I retired last September, having worked full-time for over 40 years, I had few friends or interests outside of my immediate family. My local group in Sonning Common was a great start to my “new life” providing friendship, stimulating and challenging discussion topics, fascinating talks, outings and social events. Who knew that life after work could be so fulfilling!
