Sheffield (Fulwood) NWR group give a modern interpretation of Edward Burne-Jones Pre-Raphaelite painting “The Hours”.
‘The Hours’ offers an allegorical interpretation of the times of the day through the depiction of six female figures.
We updated the background, activities and dress but kept to the colour scheme, themes and solemnity (mostly)!
From left to right, the seated figures symbolise Waking, Dressing, Working, Feasting, Playing, and Sleeping.
