Horsham NWR would like to express their deep sadness at the loss of their much loved and respected member. Gillian Gatehouse (formerly Drake) after a period of illness. She joined NHR in 1968 and since then has been a tireless, enthusiastic member, including five years on the National Group, both as magazine editor and finally becoming the National Organiser in 1986. When living in Hong Kong, Gillian established the first NWR group there. She also held committee posts for both national and local conferences and was a member of the Correspondence Group and Postal Book Group. As a member of the Horsham group since 1976, Gillian originated our successful book group and weekly coffee mornings. She will be sadly missed by our group.
