26 Nov we had a planning meeting followed by a slide show from an exhibition that four of us had visited in January in Manchester.
It was an immersive Hockney exhibition accompanied by a commentary in David Hockney’s own voice at various ages.
We were steeped in the vivid colours of his countryside iPad pictures, his photo collages and photos of his stage sets.
We heard about his ideas of how to represent time and motion and perspective.
