Yesterday morning our Bury St Edmunds group met for a Spring Flowers Walk at Chippenham Park, near Newmarket.
On the beautiful spring day, with warm sunshine and blue skies, we strolled around the large gardens and woodland, admiring the many Daffodils, Tulips and Hellebores on display, along with the budding trees, waterways, numerous sculptures and quirky pieces scattered here and there.
It was one of those days when everything seemed to be coming to life, and, after a welcome break for coffee and cake, we all left feeling uplifted, in spite of the currently uncertain times.
