We are a small but friendly group aged in our 70s and 80s who would make new members feel very welcome. We enjoy visits, discussing new topics and each other’s company.
Our meetings take place fortnightly on Monday evenings in our houses, but there is no obligation to host. Our book group meets four times a year.
Our discussions are informal and there is always plenty of time for a chat. Examples of recent discussion topics are: My favourite Inventor, Favourite food or new food you have tried recently. Bring along some European cheese to tell us about and we will judge the best one. Choose somewhere on the latitude of Madrid and tell us about it. What advice would you give to your teenage self. Newspaper night – talk about an article.
We also go on visits to the theatre, summer walks and meals out.
