Yesterday (10th November) nine members of Amersham North met up at a local gastro-pub, The Pomeroy, for a long awaited face to face catch up and a delicious lunch. We are trying out a number of ways of meeting up in the daytime and so far have visited a member’s garden, met for a walk and coffee, and now for lunch. U3A is very active in this area so there is stiff competition to tempt people away especially during the day.
