We held our annual Curling Bonspiel at Greenacres Curling Club deep in the Renfrewshire countryside.
This is an easy version of Ice Curling but it still requires some skill, concentration and strategy. We all had great fun. Jenifer was the overall winner. Margaretha (joint winner with Fiona from last year), presented the greatly prized Bonspiel trophy along with her (chocolate) medal. Linda was the winner of the Summer League and also the “Low Road” winner of the Bonspiel. Her prizes were a delicious (chocolate) medal and a voucher for a Strawberry Tart! A post Bonspiel lunch was then enjoyed by all.
