We are a group of 18, lively, chatty ladies of a certain age, most of whom are recently retired. We meet in the evening at 7.30, once a month in each other’s homes and try to rotate the days of our meetings as most of us are involved in other clubs and societies.
Our meetings can involve discussions or researched topics. In recent meetings, topics have included The Future of the High Street; Fashion; Blue Plaques; The 1960s; Drugs, Herbs and Medicine; as well as social activities like our Christmas Party and a Cinema Visit.
We also have 2 sub groups which meet every 2 months, a book club and a lunch club.
