We are a friendly well-established group, formed over 40 years ago. Normally we meet fortnightly, rotating the day so that those with fixed commitments have an opportunity to participate. We have a blend of afternoon and evening in-person meetings but retain the option of some Zoom meetings, particularly for outside speakers. We have a varied programme and enjoy discussing both the serious and lighthearted.
Theatre and cinema trips, visits to gardens and places of local historical interest would normally be part of our programme, as well as bi-annual social events and a regular walking programme designed to cater for all fitness levels.
